Ottawa police have charged a 28-year-old man with sexual assault in connection with an incident that took place in 2025, and investigators say they believe there may be more victims in the city.
Matthew Mancini was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of sexual assault related to his employment as a massage therapist at the Brookstreet Hotel Spa, the Ottawa Police Service said in a release issued at 1:50 p.m.
Police say Mancini is also known to have worked as a massage therapist at other establishments across the Ottawa area.

The Ottawa Police Service's Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Unit is leading the investigation and believes there may be additional victims or incidents connected to the case in the Ottawa area.

Supports available for survivors
