How to help
Anyone with information about the incident or the suspect's identity is asked to contact the OPS Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5116, or by email at robbery@ottawapolice.ca.
The police service is also encouraging residents to register their security cameras through CAMSafe.ca, a program that lets investigators know where cameras are located in the community. Police say registering a camera location can help support investigations and make neighbourhoods safer.
In addition, members of the public can view, download and interact with police data through the Community Safety Data portal at data.ottawapolice.ca.
The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been announced.
